Another Playground Power Weekend is upon us, and this edition features four tournaments sure to please every poker fan.
Tonight’s kick-off event is a $200 + $20 NL Hold’em Mix Max tournament held at 7pm, where players will start with 20,000 in chips and play through 20-minute levels. A cool $20,000 guarantee is set for this event, with late registration open through until the end of the first break at 8:30pm.
Play will begin 10-handed in this Mix Max tournament, and will remain so until the end of the registration period. Once the field drops to 96 players, tables will be shifted to 8-handed. At 60 players, the tables will become 6-handed, and at 24 players 4-handed poker will begin. The final table will be formed once 5 players remain in action.
Other events included in the July Playground Power Weekend are a multi-flight $500 + $50 Deepstack with $200,000 guaranteed, as $200 + $20 Freeze ($30,000 guaranteed) and a $150 + $30 + $150 50/50 Bounty ($30,000 guaranteed). More information can be found here.
