Amjad open-shoved his last 140,000 from the cutoff with Jack of Spades 10 of Spades, and was sent to the rail by Franco Sicondolfi’s King of Clubs Queen of Spades in 11th place, bringing on the final table of the 50/50 Bounty. With that pot, Franco took over the chip lead to start the final table, holding a stack of roughly 600K. A short break will take place in 20 minutes, at which point we will publish full counts of the remaining players.

Congratulations on reaching the final table!

Short-stacked Clinton Chatoor took advantage of an unopened pot from the small blind to move in, but he was met with a snap call from Gerson Jr Foisy in the big blind. He tabled 9 of Diamonds 7 of Diamonds and was for behind the 10 of Hearts 10 of Spades of his opponent. He managed to pick up a flush draw on the turn, however wound up with the second best hand on a 6 of Hearts King of Diamonds Queen of Hearts 2 of Diamonds Ace of Spades board to exit the tournament in 20th place.

Play was about to enter hand-for-hand when the 19 finalists agreed to pay an extra spot, and forgo the bubble. $150 was removed from the 1st place prize and will now be awarded to the next elimination, unofficially bringing the 50/50 into the money.

Congratulations to those who earned a payday in tonight’s tournament!

Demers adds to his lead, pockets 2 more bounty chips

Jean Yves Demers was already the biggest stack in the room when he looked down at King of Hearts King of Clubs in the big blind, faced with two short-stack all-ins. He made the quick call, and found himself in a great spot to add some ammunition to his already impressive armory. He was up against Queen of Hearts Queen of Spades and Ace of Diamonds King of Diamonds, and although the flop brought some danger with two diamonds, his pocket Kings ultimately held on for the win on the 3 of Diamonds 5 of Diamonds 3 of Hearts 9 of Clubs 6 of Spades board, sending two opponents home while collecting two $150 bounty chips in the process.
