Alexandre Mongrain suffered a brutal beat, losing almost all of his healthy stack after flopping top set. When he checked it, Haralambos Margaritis picked up a gutshot and decided to call the turn bet and rivered gin.
On the following hand, Mongrain, not in the best of moods, raised all-in. He was called by Diego Aguilar, and Alexandre Pruneau went all-in himself for 135K, with the best hand. Aguilar completed.

A very fortunate turn for both Mongrain and Aguilar. Pruneau, however, was the first final table casualty, victim of a severe turn card. He got $330 for his final table appearance. Jérémy Lecheminant was eliminated shortly after in a hand that we missed and was handed a ticket worth $380. Nice run by both!
