Play in Event #7 is now down to 18 players as the bubble burst after just a couple of hands of hand-for-hand play – local tournament player Billy K was the unfortunate player to exit in 21st. Everyone remaining is now in the money, and the tournament has been consolidated on 2 tables.
Since the bubble there have been two huge hands – and in one of them, Michel Patenaude took out two players and grew his stack to just about 700K – potentially vaulting him directly into the bigger money slots on the final table. Only time will tell!
