11 levels have come and gone here in Day 1b of the All-Stars for Starlight, and only 2 levels remain before players bag their chips onto Day 2. Shortly after the conclusion of the day, we will publish the full list of player-reported chip counts.

As a reminder, there are still two more flights to this $135 + $25 charity tournament tomorrow, one at 11am and the other at 7pm, and it’s looking like the $100,000 guarantee will be well surpassed!

After 8 levels of play, it is Giovanni Petrella who leads Day 1b of the All-Stars for Starlight event, although he is closely followed by a number of players. Five levels remain before the surviving players bag and tag their chips onto Day 2.

We have just passed the half-way mark of tonight’s flight of the All-Stars for Starlight event, part of the the TonyBet Winter Festival. Interestingly enough, nearly half of the field has also been eliminated since the start of the night! There will be a break in a level and a half, during which we will bring you an update on the leaderboard.

Registration is steadily climbing in these early levels, as nearly 300 players have bought into Day 1b of the All-Stars for Starlight, a charity tournament supporting the Starlight Children’s Foundation of Canada.

Registration is closing in a few minutes, so anyone wishing to participate in tonight’s flight should make their way over to the cage as soon as possible. Two more flights remain tomorrow, one at 11am and the latter at 7pm.

As expected, registration has climbed considerably since the start of Day 1b of Event 1. We are now mid-way through level 2, and over 250 player have filled the Tournament Hall here at Playground Poker Club, with registration still open for another few levels.

Players have until the end of the first break, or roughly 9:10pm, to jump into the action – so there is still plenty of time to make it here for Day 1b!

The TonyBet Winter Festival at Playground Poker Club kicked off in full force today, as 216 players showed up for the first of four flights of the All-Stars for Starlight, which is the opening event of this series. This event supports the Startlight Children’s Foundation of Canada, which is a charitable organization dedicated to bringing laughter, joy and hope back into the lives of children with serious illnesses. $25 from every entry will go directly to this amazing organization.

Day 1b has just begun, and 177 players have already taken their seats for what is sure to be a huge opening event. Late registration will remain open through the first four 30-minute levels, until roughly 9:10pm. Two more starting flights are scheduled for tomorrow, with Day 1c at 11am and Day 1d at 7pm.
