All players are now guaranteed a piece of the prize pool, with the winner taking home a cool $3,101! As this event is part of the TonyBet Winter Festival, the winner of the tournament will also be taking home a TonyBet Winter Festival Champion’s Trophy along with his cash prize!

Tonight at 6pm is Event 2 of the TonyBet Winter Festival, a $150 + $15 NL Hold’em Shootout tournament.

A Shootout event is one of the most “pure” tournament formats you can find. Players start on a 10-handed table and have to beat everyone else on that table before moving on to the next round. For a player to do well, they have to be a good full-ring player – but they also have to be comfortable with short-handed poker – and solid experience in short-handed formats is a huge advantage.
