Event 9 in the TonyBet Winter Festival was a $200 + $20 NL Hold’em Deepstack Turbo event that began on February 7th. There were a total of 73 entries in the tournament which added up to a prize pool of $14,162.00.

Note there was a deal made at 10 players remaining that expanded the prize pool from 8 players to 10 players, awarding each of the first two eliminated from the final table a new min-cash of $220.00.

    Jean-Pierre Noel has finished as the runner up out of 73 players in the tournament. Jean-Pierre was in survival mode since two tables remained, and managed to survive orbit after orbit to finish in 2nd place.

    The heads-up duel lasted about 10 minutes after the players agreed to an even chop. The players reserved $300 plus the Champion’s trophy for the winner and evenly divided the rest of the prize pool, meaning that 2nd place received $3,171 while the winner received $3,471 plus the trophy.
