After a solid performance throughout the Main Event, Thi Nguyen’s deep run has come to an end. After Daniel Gagnon limped from the button, Thi moved in from the small blind for roughly 2.4M. Noeung Troeung folded from the big blind, and Daniel made the call.

Playground’s local hero Joey Silver has outlasted a field of 64 entries (and 12 rebuys) to claim the victory in Event 14 – a Pot Limit Omaha tournament! It only took three hands of heads-up with Christopher James Sander before Joey found himself with all the chips on his side. He earned $2,046 for his win, as well as a Playground Poker Montreal Festival champion’s bracelet.
