The field is now down to 24 players, and the tables have just been adjusted for 4-handed play.

The Mix Max format is showing itself to be popular with the players, as they get the chance to play more and more hands as we get deeper into the tournament. This is a major change from the way standard 10-handed tournaments normally play out, where we normally see the play tighten up as the blinds increase. That approach is not an option today because the blinds will be coming around more and more quickly as we work our way down to the 5-handed final table.
