    Just 16 remain

    There are just 16 players remaining in the field of Event #5, and considering that the tournament will play down to 7 players, it’s definitely in its final phase.

    Two players have managed to take a commanding lead to this point. Samuel Pouliot has stayed near the top of the list with 102,500 in his stack at the break, outclassed only by Jonathan Brown playing 113,500. The rest of the players have varying stacks – but few are large enough to give either player much pause before calling off, so everyone must play with caution.
