Playground 200 - Jour 2 | Playground Power Weekend March 2018

Les livres se sont fermés sur le Jour 2 du Playground 200. D’une foule de 157 joueurs, seulement 23 ont survécu aux 10 niveaux qui figuraient à l’horaire d’aujourd’hui. Ces joueurs seront de retour demain soir pour la conclusion du tournoi et de la Puissante Fin de Semaine.

Les derniers moments furent dramatiques. Premièrement, Isham Yamani perdit un pot de 1M de jetons aux mains de Alex Barbosa d’une manière déchirante:

Le turn s’abattit comme un coup de tonnerre, ne laissant que 2 big blinds à Yamani, 3 mains avant la fin de la journée.

Il en coucha une, puis s’investit à partir de la position under-the-gun. Bao Ngoc Phu et Brigitte Métivier entrèrent, créant même un début de pot parallèle. Sur le flop, Phu passa l’action, et Métivier plaça une mise sérieuse. Phu relança all-in, et fut suivi aussitôt.

C’est ainsi que fut éliminée Brigitte, une main avant la fin du Jour 2, alors que Isham partagea le pot principal. Il put ensuite conserver son big blind, et sera de retour demain soir.

Avec un total de 750 entrées, le Playground 200 de la Puissante Fin de Semaine de mars a explosé la garantie de 100 000$ par 50%, préparant une belle grande table pour les Jour 2 et 3. De ces 750 entrées, 157 joueurs sont toujours dans la course et reprendront le jeu à midi demain. La cagnotte n’a pas encore été rendue publique, mais l’atteinte des prix se fera assurément lors du Jour 2, alors que 10 niveaux de 40 minutes seront joués.

Le meneur à ce stade-ci est Jerry Joseph Jaber, du Jour 1A, et est suivi de Anderson Frank-Graham, issu de la même vague. Mat Aymerich, le meneur de la vague en ligne, débute le Jour 2 en 12ème position.
