It didn’t take long after the ICM deal was made for all 4 players to open up the engines and fire all in left and right.
A few minutes into level 16, short stack Cedrik Harnois peeked at his cards and when he saw he needed no more encouragement to push all in for all his fortune, which amounted to not much more than the big blind. All the players called, thus forming a pot that was very tempting to Cedric.
While the dealer was making the main pot, Manfred fired 10K dark, Patrick St-Onge called dark, followed by Marco Dinardo who waited for the flop to come out before calling.
The turn revealed an and that’s when Manfred shoved all in. Both remaining players hesitated a bit but folded. Manfred turned over his hand: for a straight. Cedric opened and asked the dealer for a nine or an eight with a smile, for a boat. But the on the river did absolutely nothing to help him and that was the end of the line for him.
