A few hands after the departure of Garcia in 5th place, the four remaining players did a quick count and asked the tournament director to stop the clock to discuss a deal.
The whole tournament up to this point has been peppered with bouts of laughter, antics and friendly jabs. It’s obvious that the players are in this to win, but to also have a good time doing it. This holds true on the final table as well. It took about 3 seconds for them to agree to an ICM chop. 2% ($110) of the prize pool has been laid aside for the winner and the play will resume shortly.
