With the blinds ever increasing, the options for the lower stacks were pretty limited. Taking into consideration that chip leader Sam Pouliot had almost 50% of the chips, it was hard for anyone to do anything else but go all-in if they woke up with a half decent hand.

That is exactly what happened to Michael Khan who was dealt pocket 2 of Hearts 2 of Spades. No sooner had he looked at his cards that he pushed all-in. Arthur W. got out of the way, which left Sam to act. Sam immediately called the 546,000 bet with Ace of Spades Queen of Spades.

Michael wasn’t in too bad a shape on the flop: 10 of Diamonds King of Hearts 10 of Hearts but the Queen of Hearts on the turn almost crushed his hopes. The river brought no miracle to Michael 3 of Diamonds and two pairs for Sam was enough to terminate Michael Khan’s trek tonight, in 4th place.

    4th place: Michael Khan, $1,880
