With the back-to-back eliminations of Priam Syllion in 8th place, the players are now down to 7 and the final table has begun.
As we head into the 8th hour of play, the players are ready to tackle the final push and fight for the biggest piece of the pie possible.

The players are coming back from a well-deserved break, during which time we had the opportunity to get a full chip count.
The players seem to be in good spirits, although most are showing signs of fatigue. A good percentage of these players were here all weekend, wanting to get into the action.
There are now only two tables and players will need to put their rally caps on because the final sprint before the final table in a 6-handed tournament is not easy. Since the final table will be with 7 players, that means that the play will have to proceed with 4 players on each table, until there are only 7 left. Short-handed play is touchy and every move counts. We’ll see how the players fare in the next few blinds.

The action is still growing strong, but has reduced a bit as the players get into their 7th hour of play.
We took the opportunity to get photos of most of the remaining 13 players. There will be a break in a few minutes and we will update the leaderboard.
Only 2 hands after the clock was stopped for hand per hand action the bubble hit. Alec Brandstatter saw an opportunity when he looked down at his hole cards and saw 
, and went all in. Shane Gallant snapped called with 
and the dealer revealed the board.
Alec needed to hit his seven, at least. But the community cards were not cooperating : 
and Alec was sent to the rail as bubble in 18th place.
The 17 remaining players are now in the money and play resumes normally.
The clock is stopped and the action is now hand per hand. There are 18 players left and play will continue in this manner until one more player hits the rail.
A bounty tournament is always home to huge action. The players are still hitting the rail at a steady pace and there are no signs that things will ease off any time soon.
There are presently 3,275,000 chips in play, and all the players are checking the boards to make sure they play in a manner that will let them make the prize pool, and more. With 17 places paid, there are only six more eliminations to go before everyone is in the money.
