Dinner break chip leader Brian Wang has been eliminated from Day 1a at the beginning of level 10. Since the half-way point of level 9, we’ve lost several other prominent players including Samuel Chartier, Jeff Gross, Marc André Ladouceur among others. Chartier and Gross both spent much of the day on the very challenging Table 50, which has claimed more than its share of victims today.
Some players still in this first starting flight in the event as the last level of play winds down are Ari Engel, Kane Kalas, Xuan Liu, TJ Ulmer, Matthew Salsberg, and Lucas Greenwood. There are three players left who have had significant pas successes in big events hosted at Playground Poker Club: Tim Reilly, Ami Alibay, and Pascal Lefrancois.
