The sealed chip bags have been arranged at their places and all of the dealers have taken their seats, ready to welcome the 217 players still in Event 3 back to begin play in the event. A few players have slowly started to filter in as well, although the majority won’t arrive until the last minute.
Near the top of the leaderboard is Chris “D0r1t0s” McClung, who is almost certainly the most experienced player left in the event and has a huge stack – 337K – to start the day. That being said, though, there are a also a lot of local tournament regulars who have consistently demonstrated their talent and experience – including the one player with a larger stack than McClung – Vasilios Sklavounos.
The bubble player will be the player eliminated in 109th place – and if history is any indication, this should be reached after just 3 or 4 levels tonight.
