Gerald Macleod moved in from the button for 2,075,000, putting Randy Khalil into the tank. After a moment of silence, he announced the call, but found himself far behind.

Gerald: 4 of Spades 4 of Hearts

Randy: 3 of Spades 3 of Hearts

The 6 of Diamonds Jack of Diamonds 6 of Spades Ace of Diamonds 7 of Diamonds board changed nothing, reducing Randy’s stack to around 2 million.

Richard Figiel was eliminated shortly after the break, ending his deep run in 8th place, good for $4,740.

A few hands later, Frederic Mercier was auto-all-in from the big blind, as his stack dwindled to just 1BB. Jimmy Setna limped in from early position, but folded once Randy Khalil made it a flat 1 million from the small blind.

Frederic: 6 of Hearts 2 of Clubs

Randy: King of Hearts Queen of Spades

Board: 8 of Diamonds 10 of Clubs 5 of Spades Jack of Diamonds King of Diamonds

Frederic tried to grind his way to a win, but was blinded out in 7th place. He still collected $6,690 for his efforts.

Nick Petsas was in the big blind facing a raise of 325,000 from Gerald Macleod when he elected to move all-in for 1,505,000. Gerald made the call, and the two players tabled their hands.

Nick: Ace of Diamonds Queen of Clubs

Gerald: Ace of Spades King of Clubs

Nick was drawing to a number of outs when the turn gave him an open-ended straight draw, and a flush draw, but the blank river on the 6 of Diamonds 10 of Clubs Jack of Diamonds 9 of Diamonds 7 of Spades board brought us down to 8 players.

    9th place: Nick Petsas – $3,590

Frederic Mercier seems to be a short-stack specialist, as he’s been grinding his short-stack this entire Day 3. He recently doubled his 2BB stack versus Randy Khalil in a battle of the blinds, and then found himself all-in in a three way pot versus Randy Khalil and Senthuran Vijayaratnam. The two chip leaders checked it down until showdown, where Frederic’s Ace of Clubs Queen of Clubs was best on a 4 of Diamonds Queen of Diamonds 9 of Spades 4 of Clubs 2 of Clubs board, beating Randy’s King of Clubs Jack of Diamonds and Senthuran’s 3 of Clubs 3 of Spades. He is now a little over the 1,500,000 mark, which is the wealthiest he’s been all tournament!

After seeing a decent portion of his overwhelming chiplead get shipped here and there, Randy Khalil has bounced back on this final table of The $250 Frenzy to find himself once again on top of the leaderboard.

He is currently sitting on roughly 4,800,000, which doubles the average stack. Senthuran Vijayaratnam is second in chips, holding a stack just shy of 4,000,000.

Chris McClung, better known by his online surname “D0r1t0s”, is our first casualty on this final table of The $250 Frenzy. His stack was crippled to 35,000 as he called the button-shove of Glen Hammers from the big blind, and lost with Ace of Diamonds 10 of Clubs versus the 8 of Clubs 8 of Hearts of Glen on a 3 of Spades Jack of Clubs Jack of Hearts 8 of Diamonds Queen of Hearts. He managed to rebuild it a little, running it up to 235,000 after winning one all-in, and chopping another, before finding himself all-in again, this time versus Ko Maddock. Chris’ 10 of Clubs Jack of Hearts was however crushed by the Ace of Spades 10 of Spades of Ko Maddock on a Ace of Hearts Ace of Diamonds 8 of Hearts King of Diamonds 9 of Clubs board, sending him to the cashiers in 10th place.

    10th place: Chris McClung – $2,700

We just witnessed a huge flip happen between Randy Khalil and Senthuran Vijayaratnam which shifted the balance of the chip lead.

Randy opened to 300,000 from middle position, and was 3bet to 900,000 by Senthuran from the button. Randy took his shades off, peaked at Senthuran’s stack, which was of 2,715,000, and then announced the all-in. Senthuran threw in some calling chips, and it was flip for over 5.5 million chips!

Randy: Ace of Hearts Queen of Diamonds

Senthuran: Jack of Diamonds Jack of Hearts

Randy made 2 pairs on the flop, but Senthuran caught up on the turn, making a straight on the Queen of Spades 10 of Hearts Ace of Clubs King of Diamonds 5 of Hearts board to win the huge pot, and take over the chip lead, leaving Randy with around 3,700,000.

Shortly after, in a battle of the blinds, and with a board showing Jack of Hearts 10 of Hearts 2 of Spades, Richard Fiegiel was all-in and called by Randy.

Randy: Jack of Clubs 5 of Clubs

Richard: King of Spades King of Hearts

The turn and river ( Queen of Clubs 6 of Clubs ) changed nothing, and Richard doubled the 955,000 he had behind on the flop, reducing Randy’s stack to around 2,300,000, which is still slightly above average.
