D0r1t0s first out on the final table
Chris McClung, better known by his online surname “D0r1t0s”, is our first casualty on this final table of The $250 Frenzy. His stack was crippled to 35,000 as he called the button-shove of Glen Hammers from the big blind, and lost with
versus the
of Glen on a
. He managed to rebuild it a little, running it up to 235,000 after winning one all-in, and chopping another, before finding himself all-in again, this time versus Ko Maddock. Chris’
was however crushed by the
of Ko Maddock on a
board, sending him to the cashiers in 10th place.
10th place: Chris McClung – $2,700

JPP out 9th
Players Club member Jean-Philippe Piquette has been eliminated in 9th place in today’s $550 Freeze.
JPP had only around 3.5 big blinds when he went all in. Francois Goulet raised to isolate, and when the rest of the players folded the players turned over their hands.

Francois:
The flop gave both players a pair:
but Jean-Philippe couldn’t improve through the
turn and river and hit the rail.
A couple of hands later, Mike Fraser was also eliminated. Event 5 is now down to 7 players.
9th place: Jean-Philippe Piquette, $1,600
8th place: Mike Fraser, $2,100
We have a new chip leader!
We just witnessed a huge flip happen between Randy Khalil and Senthuran Vijayaratnam which shifted the balance of the chip lead.
Randy opened to 300,000 from middle position, and was 3bet to 900,000 by Senthuran from the button. Randy took his shades off, peaked at Senthuran’s stack, which was of 2,715,000, and then announced the all-in. Senthuran threw in some calling chips, and it was flip for over 5.5 million chips!
Randy:
Senthuran:
Randy made 2 pairs on the flop, but Senthuran caught up on the turn, making a straight on the
board to win the huge pot, and take over the chip lead, leaving Randy with around 3,700,000.
Shortly after, in a battle of the blinds, and with a board showing
, Richard Fiegiel was all-in and called by Randy.
Randy:
Richard:
The turn and river (
) changed nothing, and Richard doubled the 955,000 he had behind on the flop, reducing Randy’s stack to around 2,300,000, which is still slightly above average.

Two quick min-cashes
Immediately after the bubble burst, two of the other short stacks were eliminated, but in their case for a $1000 prize each. The two players eliminated were Tommy Boily in 13th place and Alexandre Fortin in 12th.
After the next player is eliminated, the final table of 10 players will be set, which comes along with a full redraw.
Racine out on the bubble
After 20 hands of hand-for-hand play, Olivier Racine has been eliminated in 14th place, and consequently the rest of the players are in the money.
Olivier’s stack had been severely depleted by the time his final hand came along, but even though he was playing no more than a 3 big blind stack, he managed to fold both his big and small blinds. On the button, however, he held
– enough to get it in.
Mike Fraser – who no longer has a dominant stack in the tourney – found a call from the big blind, but was holding just

The flop was
– there was not much for anyone in it, and Ace-high probably seemed pretty safe, considering the circumstances. The turn, however, was a
and suddenly Mike was open-ended. The
on the river sealed the deal, and Olivier was eliminated.
