Buckner doubles up
Steven Buckner had been pulling the trigger quick vigorously these past few orbits, so it’s no surprise Ratharam decided to look up his 177,000 open-shove. It was a pair vs pair situation though, and Steven had the edge.
Steven:
Ratharam:
With no danger on the
board, Steven doubled back to a healthy 30BB+ stack.
Ratharam extends his lead
Ratharam Sivagnanam has just extended his lead on this final table of the Second Chance, as he got three-streets of value in a battle of the blinds. He opened preflop from the small blind, and was followed by Andrew Hinrichsen. On a board showing
, Ratharam fired 30,000 – 55,000 – 150,000 on each respective street, and was paid off by Andrew. Once the river bet was called, Ratharam tabled
for a set of sevens, and climber to over 1 million with that pot.
146 in the 8-Max

Dunn runs into aces
Robert Logan Dunn
Jason Conforti opened from under the gun, and was called by Ratharam on the button, and Robert Logan Dunn in the big blind. Both Logan and Jason checked the
flop, and Ratharam took the lead by betting 36,000. Logan came over the top, pushing his 166,000 stack into the middle, and was quickly called by Ratharam once Jason let go of his cards.

Ratharam:
Logan picked up a bunch of outs when the peeled on the turn, but the river

Boyaci makes an exit in 6th place

Community cards:
With only 31,000 behind, Ko was all-in on the next hand, and both blinds called him (Ratharam and Andrew). Andrew put in a small bet on the

, but lost to the
of Andrew.

The fall of Jimmy Gall
It took only two hands for James Gall to go from average stack to broke here on this final table of the Second Chance.
In the first hand, James opened from to 18,000 from the hijack position, and found calls from Ratharam Sivagnanam on the button and Andrew Hinrichsen in the small blind. He bet 32,000 on the
board, and was flat called only by Ratharam. On the
turn, he fired another 65,000, again called by Ratharam. On the
river, he check-called a bet of 90,000, only to see his
was second best to Ratharam’s

On the very next hand, Ko Maddock moved all-in from middle position, and James committed the remainder of his chips, roughly 80,000.
