We have just crowned our first bracelet winner of this year’s edition of the Playground Poker Spring Classic, as Rick Shamshoum defeated heads-up opponent Philippe Lauzon to take home the bracelet, and the $28,780 prize that came along with it!
Heads-up play was fairly uni-directional, as Rick gave up very few pots, and won far more of them. In the last hand of play, Rick opened to 700,000, and quickly called when Philippe moved in for 5,175,000. He tabled 
, and was in great shape versus the 
of Philippe. The board ran in favour of Rick, awarding him the pot and the victory!
