    The players have taken their first break of the day and we have taken the opportunity to find out who are the early leaders just 3 levels into the event.

    Looking around the room, there are just two players with stacks beyond a simple double-up – Randy Khalil with 82K and Jeff Rosenblatt with 70K. Randy has already had a fantastic series, having placed 5th in the $250 Frenzy last night.

    Meanwhile the numbers in the event continue to grow – there are now 163 players in the field with another 2 hours and 25 minutes of late reg available.

    Play in the WPT Warm-up has moved into level 2 and registration numbers keep climbing. There are now 121 players in the tournament, and there are still 4 hours left to late register so this total will definitely keep climbing, likely all the way to the end of late reg.

    The early-bird players (the ones who are on time) have taken their seats, the TD has made the opening announcements, and with that the $1,000 + $100 WPT Warm-up has begun!

    This tournament is Event 7 in the 2015 Playground Poker Spring Classic presented by partypoker.net. It’s a NL Hold’em Freezeout that is scheduled to play out over two days. Day 1 today will play through 16 45-minute levels, following which the remaining players will bag their chips and return for Day 2, which will begin tomorrow (Thursday April 30th) at 12pm (noon).

    Late registration in the event is available until the end of the break following level 6 today. That makes a total of 5 hours of late registration – so players can arrive at Playground any time until 4pm and register and receive a full stack of 25,000 tournament chips.

    There are 76 players already at the tables and we expect that a lot of players will take advantage of late reg, so that number is likely to climb pretty significantly.
