Event 14 is on a short break following level 23, and in the hand just before the break, Benny took a big pot from Richard to put him back in the lead deep in The Second Chance.

Benny raised his button to 45K, and Richard came along. With 3 of Spades 3 of Clubs 7 of Hearts showing on the flop, Richard check-raised Benny’s small 30K bet up to 105K. Both players checked the 8 of Clubs turn, and once Richard checked on the 4 of Diamonds river, Benny put in a big 300K bet. Richard made a quick call, only to muck his hand once Benny showed a straight with 5 of Spades 6 of Hearts.

Here are the counts during the short break before level 24:

Benny Chen – 2.6 million chips
Richard Edwin Mask – 600K chips
