Brian Morgan thought he found a dream flop for his King of Clubs Queen of Clubs, but once his all-in was called by two opponents on the flop, he realized he was actually third-best in the hand.

With the board showing Queen of Diamonds 2 of Clubs 9 of Clubs, Brian’s top-pair and flush draw needed to hit to win versus the top-two of Jordan with Queen of Hearts 9 of Spades, and the top-top of Kathy with Ace of Diamonds Queen of Diamonds. The turn (2 of Spades) and river (7 of Diamonds) were bricks, and Brian saw his chips get divided by his opponents, as Jordan was the shortest stack in the hand.

Three other quick eliminations occurred to start the day, as we lost Senturan Vijayaratnam, Patrick M and Jason Clarke to bring the field down to 20 players.
