    Patrick Trinh

After an open to 250,000 from David, Patrick Trinh moved all-in for 1,210,000 from the small blind. Kevin Daily quickly pushed over the top, and David went into the tank. After getting a count of both stacks, he eventually let go of his hand.

Patrick: Ace of Clubs 6 of Hearts

Kevin: Ace of Diamonds King of Diamonds

Kevin turned the nut straight as the board ran Queen of Diamonds Jack of Spades 9 of Hearts 10 of Clubs 3 of Diamonds, and he increased his holdings up to just over 3 million.

Once players folded their hands over to Thierry Blanc in the cutoff, he announced his all-in for roughly 12bb. William and Tina mucked their cards, leaving just David St-Louis in the hand. He peeled off big slick, and made the call.

David: Ace of Diamonds King of Hearts

Thierry: Queen of Spades 9 of Spades

David picked up two-pairs on the 2 of Spades 10 of Diamonds Ace of Hearts King of Clubs 4 of Diamonds board to earn himself the additional 1.4 million in chips, bringing his total up to around 3.7 million, while Thierry was knocked out in 9th place.

    10th place: Simon-Pier Belair-Grondin

    Simon-Pier Belair-Grondin

This was the second time Simon-Pier Belair-Grondin has made a final table in this type of $135 + $15 multi-day event here at Playground Poker Club, however he was not able to improve on his 5th place finish in the Fall of 2013, as he was just knocked out in 10th place.

After losing most of his chips to David St-Louis last level, he was grinding his short stack and waiting for a spot to stage his comeback. Action folded around to him in late position, and he decided to move in with around 675,000 to his name. Everyone but Martin in the big blind folded, and the two opened their cards:

Simon-Pier: Ace of Spades 9 of Diamonds

Martin: Ace of Diamonds Queen of Hearts

Board: Ace of Hearts 10 of Hearts King of Diamonds: Ac 3 of Spades

    10th place: Simon-Pier Belair-Grondin – $1,700.00

Patrick: Ace of Clubs King of Hearts

Tina: Ace of Diamonds Jack of Diamonds

Board: 4 of Spades 6 of Spades 4 of Diamonds 10 of Hearts 8 of Diamonds

    Ouellet misses the final table

    Robert Ouellet

Robert Ouellet has just been eliminated from Day 3 of The Wild $150, and with that we now have our final table of 10 players.

We missed the exact action, but it seems Robert was all-in preflop with KJ, and failed to improve versus the pocket pair of 2s of Martin Lapostolle.

Players are now moving to their new seating assignments, which we will publish momentarily.

    11th place: Robert Ouellet – $1,700.00

Moments after David St-Louis lost a massive 5.5 million chip pot, he found himself involved in yet another big pot. Action folded around to Simon-Pier Belair-Grondin, who open-shoved for around 1.5 million chips. This prompted David into the tank, and after about a minute of deliberation, he threw in a calling chip.

Simon-Pier: Ace of Spades King of Diamonds

David: Ace of Hearts 2 of Spades

David spiked the window on the 2 of Hearts Queen of Diamonds 4 of Hearts Ace of Diamonds 8 of Spades board to double up his 1.2 million stack, crippling his opponent in the process.

In the mean time, Tina jumped up the leaderboard as she flopped a set of deuces on a 2 of Clubs 5 of Clubs 8 of Diamonds board, and was paid by Kevin Daily who held 10 of Hearts 8 of Hearts for top pair. Tina now sits on over 3.5 million chips, good for second at the moment.

David St-Louis just lost another huge pot to table-opponent Martin Lapostolle.

David opened to 250,000 from early position, and Martin replied for an all-in worth 2,650,000 from the button. David waisted no time making the call, and both players tabled their hands.

David: King of Spades King of Clubs

Martin: Ace of Clubs Queen of Diamonds

Although David started the hand way ahead, the Ace of Diamonds Ace of Hearts 4 of Spades 7 of Diamonds 3 of Diamonds board ran in favour of Martin, who earned himself a pot upwards of 5.3 million, good for the current chip lead, leaving his opponent with roughly 1.4 million.

Richard Sysko has been the next player eliminated from The Wild $150. He lost all but 1bb in a hand against Tina S. In the fateful hand, Tina shoved all-in and found a quick call from Richard, but when the players turned over their cards Richard found himself way behind Tina’s pocket Aces.

Tina: Ace of Hearts Ace of Clubs
Richard: Queen of Hearts Queen of Diamonds

The board ran out clean for Tina: 3 of Spades 2 of Clubs 9 of Diamonds 5 of Diamonds 5 of Hearts and Richard passed 815K across to add to her stack, leaving him with just over 100K. He lost the very next hand to go out in 12th.

    12th place: Richard Sysko, $1,700

The next player down in The Wild $150 is Jonathan Borne. He open shoved with just over 400K left and found a call from Simon Pier Belair-Grondin. Other players were tempted to join the action as well (400K is just 4 bb) but ended up folding.

Jonathan: Ace of Clubs 7 of Spades
Simon Pier: 9 of Clubs 9 of Diamonds

The community cards had nothing positive for Jonathan, as they ran out 10 of Hearts 6 of Spades 6 of Diamonds Jack of Spades 9 of Spades.

    13th place: Jonathan Borne, $1,400
