Tonight the 4th of 6 starting flights to The $250 Frenzy will take place at Playground Poker Club. This $225 + $25 Event 3 of the Playground Poker Spring Classic will play out through 14 levels before the surviving players bag their chips. Players start with 20,000 in chips, and late registration will remain open for the first four levels and break.
The first 3 starting flights of The $250 Frenzy attracted 128, 212 and 153 players respectively, giving us a combined total of 493 entries so far. Day 1d is only 12 minutes into level 1 and there are already 147 players seated.

Day 1c of Event 3 in the Playground Poker Spring Classic began today at 11am and played through 14 levels of 30-minutes before players counted and bagged their chips for their return to play on Day 2. This 3nd of 6 starting flights attracted a total of 153 entries and when the end of the day arrived there were 27 players left. After 3 flights The $250 Frenzy is now up to 493 entries.
The leader from this third flight is Jean-Philippe Caron, who picked up some momentum near the end of the day to finish with 284,000 chips for Day 2. David Guay bagged the second biggest stack of the day after spending most of the flight atop the leaderboard – he will be returning to Day 2 with 235,000.
Any player who entered either (or both of) today’s starting flights in the tournament may re-enter in a subsequent starting flight – this is a “next day re-entry” event, meaning that players enter each of the 6 starting flights once.

The third flight to The $250 Frenzy is winding down, and in a few minutes the remaining players will bag and tag their chips into Day 2. So far it appears David Guay is still the man in charge, however once the day is over we will publish the full list of player-reported chip counts.
Day 1d takes place tonight at 7:30pm, and as per usual late registration will remain open though until the end of the first break, roughly 9:40pm. Tomorrow will be the two final flights to this Event 3 in the Playground Poker Spring Classic presented by partypoker.net, with Day 1e at 11am and Day 1f at 7:30pm. Day 2 is scheduled for Monday night at 7pm.
