    Jason Helder

    Jason Helder

Day 1a of the WPT Canadian Spring Championship got underway today at 11am and play continued through 10 60-minute levels before the remaining players were asked to count and bag their chips to return to play on Day 2. There were 147 entries in today’s 2nd of 3 starting flights in the tournament, and by the end of the night, 69 remained. These 69 players have all qualified for Day 2.

Any player who entered today’s starting flight in the tournament may also enter the final starting flight (Day 1c) – this is a “next day re-entry” event, meaning that players enter each of the 3 starting flights once.

Note that these are player-recorded chip count totals. The actual chips have been sealed in bags which will be opened by the players to be returned to play on Day 2, which begins at 12:00pm on Monday May 2nd
