    3rd place: Peter Cornick

    Peter Cornick

Peter Cornick moved all-in for almost 500,000 from the small blind, and Denis Scott made the call from the big blind, holding virtually the same stack.

Peter: Ace of Clubs 10 of Spades
Denis: King of Hearts 3 of Hearts

It seemed like Peter was going to win the hand, until Denis found a runner-runner straight on the Ace of Hearts Queen of Spades 4 of Spades 5 of Diamonds 2 of Hearts board to sneak away with the win.

Event 11 is now in heads-up action, with Pierre Remillard (2,000,000) versus Denis Scott (1,020,000).

    3rd place: Peter Cornick – $3,000.00

    4th place: Majid Khajed Hosseini

    Majid Khajed Hosseini

Majid Khajed Hosseini was the monster chip leader at the start of the final table, and even went on to knock out a few players after that. In back-to-back hands, he went from hero to zero, as Pierre got the best of him twice to clean him out.

In both instances, Majid open-shoved first to act, and Pierre called behind. On the first hand, Pierre and his Ace of Clubs Queen of Hearts won a pot of 1 million versus Jack of Diamonds Jack of Hearts, as the board ran 4 of Clubs 5 of Diamonds 6 of Clubs 9 of Clubs Ace of Hearts. Moments later, Pierre tabled Jack of Diamonds 10 of Hearts, and was up against Ace of Clubs 5 of Diamonds, and once again he spiked a pair on the river to win the hand and take over the commanding chip-lead 3-way.

    4th place: Majid Khajed Hosseini – $2,120.00

    Medhat Ramzy

The eliminations keep coming at a rapid pace on this final table, as we’ve dropped from 10 players down to just 4 in a level and a half. Medhat Ramzy was our 5th place finisher, as his Jack of Clubs 9 of Spades shove from the button was looked up by Pierre and his Ace of Clubs 7 of Spades on the big blind, who improved on the 4 of Diamonds King of Clubs 5 of Spades 10 of Spades 7 of Clubs board to bring us down to our final 4.

    5th place: Medhat Ramzy – $1,600.00

    Slavador Villaluz

As expected with so few blinds in play, there have been a lot of all-ins since the start of the final table. The most recent one came from Salvador Villaluz, who pushed for 150,000 from the button. Peter Cornick made the call from the small blind, while Renato let go of his big blind.

Salvador: Ace of Clubs 8 of Clubs
Peter: Ace of Hearts 10 of Spades

    9th place: Kim Kilroy

    Kim Kilroy

Kim returned to the break with only 1bb, after losing most of it to Peter Cornick moments before the break. She folded the first two hands as the field lost a player, and on her third hand she threw her last chips in from middle position.

Pierre and Salvador were involved in the hand as well, however a bet from Pierre on the turn brought the hand to heads-up.

Pierre: 5 of Hearts 5 of Diamonds
Kim: Queen of Diamonds 2 of Clubs

Board: 2 of Hearts King of Clubs 6 of Diamonds 6 of Hearts Jack of Clubs

Pierre was best in the hand with his pocket-pair, and eliminated Kim in 9th place.

    10th place: Nicola Basile

    Nicola Basile

After taking a big hit the hand before the break, Nicola Basile was left with 1.5bb on the first hand back from the break. Seated under the gun, he slid forward his 75,000 stack, and found calls from Majid and the two blinds.

When the flop brought the 4 of Clubs 5 of Clubs 8 of Clubs, Majid announced all-in and brought the hand down to heads-up.

Majid: Ace of Clubs 9 of Spades
Nicola: Queen of Diamonds Jack of Spades

The Ace of Diamonds on the turn sealed the hand, and the river 4 of Diamonds was just a formality. With that pot, Majid climbed to over 1 million and extended his lead in the late stages of Event 11.

    10th place: Nicola Basile – $450.00

The players in Event 11 were just on a short break, and we took this chance to count the stacks of the remaining 10 players. The blinds are about to switch to level 22 – 30K/60K/5K – and given the stack sizes we should be seeing chips flying in the next few minutes, as the average player sits on only 5 big blinds.

Action seems to have picked up a little since the players in Event 11 have arrived at the final table.

Majid increased his lead by winning a few pots to start the final, and on the hand before the break, we witnessed a 3-way all-in. No one was eliminated from the table, but stacks were definitely shifted.

Nicola was the first to pull the trigger, as he pushed for 243,000 from early position. Peter was all-in from middle position for 126,000, and Kim then moved in herself for 155,000. Majid tanked for a few moments before reluctantly folding his hand, and the blinds and button released their hands.

Nicola: 9 of Hearts 9 of Clubs
Peter: 5 of Clubs 5 of Diamonds
Kim: Queen of Hearts Queen of Diamonds

Board: 5 of Hearts Jack of Clubs 3 of Clubs 2 of Diamonds 4 of Hearts

Peter found a set of 5s to win a big triple up, while Kim and Nicola took considerable hits to their stacks.
