Joel Miller is now playing on the final table of his first ever World Poker Tour event! Joel joins us from the Ottawa Valley, a town called Fitzroy Harbour, just upriver from Ottawa and home to quite a few frequent visitors to Playground Poker Club.
One of these frequent visitors is Dave Rathwell, who was also the organizer of “Bling’s Poker League” which, in this edition, awarded 3 seats to the WPT Canadian Spring Championship. Joel was one of the winners of a seat, and also fortunate because his friends have all driven down to rail him on the final table today! It’s notable that in addition to Dave, his rail also includes this year’s Event 4 Champion, Andrew Dick! That’s some kind of home poker league!
