We are already up to 265 entries for the day, the players keep arriving.
Just before the first break (after two 60-minute levels) there was a relatively large hand that took place on table 36. Santiago Plante and Mark Bradley were the ones battling it out, and we joined the action after the flop.
Flop:
Santiago bet 1,000 utg and was raised to 3,000 by Mark. Santiago called. The turn was a , which led to two checks. The river was an , and Santiago made a sizable bet for this point in the tournament, 10,000. Without too much hesitation Mark called. Santiago showed his for two pair, and Mark mucked. He told us he also had two pair, just not as large.
The loss definitely put a dent in Mark’s stack, but there remains plenty of poker left to play.
