Mike Leah opened the action to 15,000 from under the gun, and Shawn Daigle moved all-in for 73,000 next to act. Once play folded around to Nghi Van Tran in the small blind, he bumped it up to 150,000, forcing Mike out of the hand.
Nghi Van tabled and was well ahead of Shawn’s , especially once a flop was rolled out. He jokingly stated that he should’ve just flat-called pre-flop to allow Mike into the hand.
With that pot Nghi Van jumped up above 650,000 in chips, while Shawn placed a few spots shy of the money.
