Upeshka De Silva opened to 25,000 from early position, and then called Kyle Chang’s all-in raise worth just over 220,000.

Kyle: King of Diamonds Queen of Diamonds

Board: 6 of Diamonds Ace of Spades 3 of Spades Queen of Spades 7 of Clubs

Kyle was awarded $14,100 for his finish.

Moments later Amir Babakhani open-shoved his 232,000 stack from late position, and Sorel Mizzi put him at risk from the big blind.

Sorel: Ace of Clubs Jack of Clubs

With no danger on the 9 of Diamonds 7 of Spades 3 of Spades 6 of Diamonds 4 of Diamonds board, Amir found a key double-up to keep him in the running for a second WPT title. Although Sorel took a hit on the hand, he remains healthy with roughly average stack.

The Main Event field is now down to 8 final table. Recent eliminations include David Peters, Justin Liberto, Kevin Rivest and Mukul Pahuja.
