Level 20 has just begun, and play remains 8-handed. Tommy Nguyen has chipped up to nearly 1,000,000 chips, and his stack more than doubles any other player. Louis Boutin and Marc-Andre Ladouceur are the two short stacks in play, both with under 150,000 in chips, while the other 5 players sit between 200,000 and 400,000.

Play has been rather tame in the last few orbits, although this may be the quiet before the storm as it’s decision time soon for a few of the players here.

    9th place: Jordan Westmorland

Tommy Nguyen opened to 15,000 from late position, and Jordan Westmorland 3-bet all-in from the cutoff for 143,000. Once action swung back around to Tommy, he slammed forward some chips to put his opponent at risk.

Jordan: Ace of Diamonds Queen of Diamonds
Tommy: Ace of Hearts King of Hearts

Tommy’s big slick held for the win on a 4 of Hearts Ace of Spades 2 of Diamonds 2 of Hearts Jack of Diamonds board, boosting his stack up above 900,000 and increasing his lead on this final table.

    9th place: Jordan Westmorland – $27,000

The High Roller event is on it’s first break of the night, and play is still 9-way on the final table. Tommy Nguyen continues to extend his lead, steadily chipping up every orbit. Kristen Bicknell enjoyed a double-up just before the break, winning a flip with AK versus Louis Boutin’s QQ.

Peter Fellows placed a min-raise from the button, and Kristen Bicknell defended her big blind. On a Queen of Spades 9 of Diamonds 8 of Hearts flop, Kristen check-raised her opponent all-in, who was happy to commit his short stack.

Peter: Ace of Clubs Ace of Hearts
Kristen: 8 of Clubs 9 of Clubs

Peter needed some help to keep his seat at the table, but the running cards brought a King of Hearts and a 2 of Diamonds, sending him to the rail in 11th place, good for $24,500.

We are now one elimination away from our 9-handed final table, and a seating redraw will take place when we reach it.
