The High Roller Event is onto its final chapter today, and 13 players return to the felts to play down to a winner. Day 2 was slightly extended yesterday as players requested to continue action until the money bubble was burst, and therefore the 13 finalists are all assured of at least a $23,000 payday. A 6-figure cash awaits the top 3 finishers, with the tournament champion set to take home $270,000.

Tommy Nguyen returns as the chip leader, and his 526,000 chip stack dwarf his Day 3 adversaries. Ajay Chabra found a huge double-up late last night on the bubble, propelling him into second place while sending the field into the money. Full counts can be found in the table below.

Players are now at their seats and action is about to take off with 31 minutes left in level 17. Best of luck to the remaining players!

An interesting bubble elimination has brought the High Roller field into the money, and with it comes the close of Day 2.

On a 3 of Spades King of Diamonds 2 of Diamonds flop, action blew up between John Krpan and Ajay Chabra leading to an all-in and a call. Ajay turned over King of Hearts King of Spades and was matched with the one hand he did not want to see, as John was holding 4 of Diamonds 5 of Diamonds for open-ended straight draw and flush draw.

John ended up bricking both draws, as the dealer rung out a Queen of Clubs and a Jack of Hearts as the turn and river, and when the count was done both players had identical stacks, each holding 195,500.

With his elimination, the remaining 13 players bagged and tagged their chips onto Day 2, with Tommy Nguyen at the head of the pack. Full counts are listed below.

    See you tomorrow!

Tommy Nguyen just took a chunk of chips from Joey Weissman after flopping three-of-a-kind and improving to a flush. Tommy was holding King of Diamonds Jack of Diamonds on a King of Clubs 8 of Diamonds King of Hearts Queen of Diamonds 3 of Diamonds board and found a call on his 55,000 river bet in a pot that was close to 100,000 prior to the river action.

Tommy has now exceeded the 500,000 chip mark, and extended his lead as play nears the bubble.
