Just as heads up action was about to start, Arthur W. said, “This won’t take long.” It was not a lie, because after only a couple of hands, the final hand came up.
Before the hand Sam said, “I think I will call blind” and added 15,000 to his small blind. Both players received their hands. True to his word, Sam never looked at his hand and waited for Arthur to act. Arthur checked and the flop came out: 
. Arthur checked and Sam, still playing blind, casually threw in a bet of 50,000 which Arthur called.
When the 
came out on the turn, Arthur checked again. Sam decided to finally check out his hand and shoved all-in as soon as he saw it. Arthur did not hesitate to call. Both men tabled their hands. Sam had hit top pair holding 
whereas Arthur had hit middle pair with 
. Arthur laughed and said, “You wake up with an ace playing blind? Figures!”. Obviously Arthur was making a reference to Samuel’s amazing run on the final table. The 
on the river changed nothing, and Samuel’s pair of aces was enough to clinch the win.
