    The Playground Power Weekend hosts a great Single Re-buy tournament for $110 tonight.

    Here are all the details: Players start with 20,000 tournament chips, and play will be 10-handed. The registration period will be open until the beginning of level 7. With blinds going up every 20 minutes, in other words, players can register until 10:15PM.

    This is a Single Rebuy tournament, which means that one rebuy ($100 for 20,000 chips) is permitted until the end of the late registration period. Players may rebuy if their stack falls to 5,000 or less. It’s also important to note that players who bust and wish to rebuy, must remain in their seat and rebuy immediately to continue. if they miss one hand, they will not be permitted to rebuy.

    With a gorgeous guaranteed prize pool of $10,000, this is a tournament format that always goes down well the players, so expect to see the number of entries to swell to interesting proportions.

    Carl Gagne-Lizotte opened to 300,000 from the button, and Joel Berard placed a raise to 800,000 from the small blind. Carl obliged, and the two players went heads-up to the flop.

    With Queen of Hearts 7 of Hearts 9 of Diamonds on the board, Joel moved all-in first to act and found a quick call.

    Once cards were tabled, the dealer rung out a 7 of Spades turn and 4 of Diamonds river, sealing the pot for Carl and eliminating Joel in the process (3rd place – $4,342).

    After an open to 325,000 from Joel Berard on the button, Michael 3bet all-in for 1,000,000 from the big blind and found a call.

    After a string of unfortunate hands, Luigi Fantigrossi dwindled into the short stack of the final table. With only a few big blinds left, his all-in was looked up by Carl Gagne-Lizotte.

    The Playground Power Weekend is highlighted by two multi-flight events, along with a series of satellites into the upcoming MILLIONS Main Event. After a slew of Step 1 tournaments, and last night’s Step 2, we have now reached the final stage of the satellites: a $1,500 + $150 Step 3 direct satellite.

    Cards are now in the air for this satellite, with currently 34 players registered and late registration open for another 3 hours.
