Play is winding down on Day 1D of the Playground 500, as only 27 players and two levels of play remain. The players who survive until the end of level 14 will be bagging chips and taking a short break before they return to the tournament hall for Day 2 at 7pm.
Michael Mckinnon, this flight’s chip leader at the last break, has only added to his stack since and figures to be one of the top stacks that will emerge from this flight. The mood in the room has become a lot more serious as the levels have progressed; the players clearly have Day 2 on their minds.
