The action was already well under way when we arrived at table #60. Nick was facing a 50,000 bet from Maxime Laberge on a board.
With only 68,000 chips left in front of him, on top of an existing 10,000 bet, he was obviously struggling with his decision. With Maxime staring straight ahead, Nick called a clock on himself. After a few seconds though, he made his decision and shoved all-in. No sooner had Nick acted, Maxime called.
Maxime was holding and looking for a flush. Nick tabled his hand: , his flush draw no longer a contender, he was counting on his cowboys to hold their ground.
A came on the turn, followed by a on the river. The kings were good and a relieved Nick sat back down and was happy to scoop the chips home.
