Dany Debs is taking no prisoners.  Holding rockets, he sneakily called action pre-flop until two unsuspecting souls went all-in.

Dany Debs: Ace of Spades Ace of Clubs

Board: 2 of Hearts Queen of Spades Jack of Spades 6 of Clubs 10 of Spades

As soon as the final table was under way, Ioannis Tsontakis was eliminated, leaving 8 players to duke it out until only one survives.

The players are taking a well-deserved break, which allowed us to perform a full chip count of all the players.

The remaining 15 players  have agreed upon “bubble” deal that will allow all remaining players to get some prize money.  $10 from each position has been removed in order to create a $140 prize for 15th place.

As is the case when such a deal is made, the action will now be quicker and there should be a final table rather swiftly.

Two tables left, 20 players, and Maxime Argento takes the lead. Maxime is sitting on a nice 240,000 stack; improving a lot since the last update. Guillaume Daleux, with 204,000 chips is the only other player above the 200K mark.

Things are getting serious, and the bust-outs are getting sparse as the players constantly watch the boards. The top 14 will be paid, so every chip counts now.

Keeping up with the eliminations is proving to be quite a challenge. The all-in cards are flying left and right, and the numbers are shrinking at an alarming rate.

There are now 3 tables left and there is no slowing down in the forecast.

Two back-to-back eliminations caught our eye.

On table #34, three players were all-in preflop

Kosta Papa: Ace of Clubs Jack of Spades
Brigitte Korak: 3 of Spades King of Clubs
Constantinos Psallidas: 7 of Clubs 5 of Diamonds

Kosta was in very good shape, but the flop was not to his liking at all: King of Spades 10 of Spades Jack of Diamonds . With another King of Hearts on the turn, Brigitte’s legendary smile lit up the table. But Kosta was not done; he absolutely needed a queen. Constantinos was already standing up when the river came: 9 of Clubs . This hand eliminated Psallidas in 33rd place but Kosta was okay since he had more chips than both his adversaries. Nice triple-up for Brigitte.

Turning around we caught the tail-end of an all-in situation on table #30 where, once again, all the action was preflop. Chip leader Jimmy Guervil was all-in with 10 of Spades 10 of Hearts and he was facing 3 of Hearts 3 of Diamonds in the hands of Pierre L’écuyer. The board ran without anyone hitting anything, so Jimmy eliminates Pierre in 32nd place and adds new chips to his loot.
