Senthuran cripples Afriat
With 241,000 to his name, Senthuran Vijayaratnam was facing an unopened pot on the button and pulled the trigger, announcing all-in. Eric Afriat made the call from the small blind, and Gary Lucci folded his big blind.

Second Chance; Second Day
The 19 players left in the Second Chance tournament have resumed play on 3 tables. Blinds are now 60 minutes long and play will continue for a minimum of 10 levels today – there’s a chance that if there are players remaining at the end of the 10 levels, they will choose to play it right through to the end. The players will have that option.
There will be a full seating redraw at 18 players remaining (in other words, after 1 more elimination).
Good luck!
Edmund Campion out 15th
Edmund Campion is the first player to be eliminated in Day 4. He had just lost a good portion of his stack to Jeff Gross when he was dealt another hand upon which he could gamble his last 168K. Action folded around to Samuel Bisrat Tsehai, who didn’t seem happy about the situation but said, “I can’t really fold here” and threw in a chip.
Edmund:
Samuel:
Edmund was a big favourite to win the hand, and the flop

Senthuran draws first blood
We arrived at table 36 with a sizeable pot in the middle and the flop and turn already dealt:

Senthuran checked again and Eric led out for 125K – but found a snap call from Senturan who turned over the flush (
). Eric mucked and Senthuran added a nice sum to his stack.
Play is underway
Play has resumed in level 23 for the 15 players left in the partypoker.net WPT Canadian Spring Championship. Interestingly enough, one player is running late – chip leader Sam Tsehai hasn’t yet arrived at the table. Of course he’ll be blinded out as play continues.
Update: Sam has now arrived at the table and only missed 3 or 4 hands of play!
