Saho, Tarrab and Rinaldi went to the board in the ole pre-flop all-in fashion:

Norson Shiniti Saho: Ace of Diamonds 9 of Hearts
François Tarrab: Ace of Clubs King of Diamonds
Steven Rinaldi: King of Hearts Queen of Hearts

Board: 6 of Hearts 4 of Clubs Jack of Clubs 2 of Clubs 10 of Hearts

Tarrab scored huge, tripling his stack to about 750K and takes Rinaldi’s Bounty. Saho’s stack is dented.

Shortly after, Sebastien Soares (title picture) opened to 60K. Sreyleap Prom raised all-in from across the table, and Soares called his 380K quickly.

Sreyleap Prom: 5 of Hearts 5 of Spades
Sebastien Soares: Ace of Spades Queen of Hearts

Board: 5 of Diamonds 9 of Diamonds Ace of Diamonds 4 of Diamonds 6 of Spades

Prom pumped her fist when the flop fell, then froze on the turn, realizing she had to dodge a diamond to claim the whole pot. She did, and eliminated Soares.

Here are the updated counts for the remaining 6 players, with Prom on top (Stoffmaker doubled Zhao Kang Pang on the first hand after these counts were taken):

Players in the $300 + $30 PL 5-Card Omaha Re-entry are now down to 15, spread on 2 tables, and on break. Ivan Driard (title picture), the winner of Event #3, the $100 + $20 + $100 PL Omaha 50/50 Bounty Re-entry, is still among the field. Last Tuesday, he bested a 121-player field, for $3,223.00. Can he do it with 5 cards?

After much action and chip movement without any knockout, it was Matthew Wilkins who went out in 9th. He pushed his 100K stack in the middle from the button, and watched Sreyleap Prom in the small blind as she pushed he chip-lead stack forward. If her intent was to isolate, it was unsuccessful, as Mitchael Ferguson also went all-in from the big blind for roughly 250K, holding the goods.

Matthew Wilkins: Jack of Clubs 10 of Hearts
Sreyleap Prom: Ace of Clubs 8 of Spades
Mitchael Ferguson: Ace of Hearts King of Spades

The board came 9 of Clubs 3 of Diamonds 7 of Hearts Queen of Clubs 2 of Hearts, bringing hope for Prom. She was one open-ended away from performing a double knockout, but the river allowed another triple up for Ferguson. he is now very healthy, holding about 700K.

9th place: Matthew Wilkins – $1,860.00

Since the formation of the final table, play has slowed down a little bit, or rather the quality of the game has improved. Stacks being deeper, small raises and 3-bets are common occurrence, rendering the game more interesting.

This hand, however, is an exception. Mitchael Ferguson (title picture) raised all-in from an early position with about 100K, and Harley Stoffmaker shoved over the top. Zhao Kang Peng was in the small blind, and decided it was time to commit his own short stack (200K).

Mitchael Ferguson: 8 of Clubs 8 of Diamonds
Harley Stoffmaker: Ace of Spades 10 of Diamonds
Zhao Kang Peng: Ace of Clubs Queen of Spades

Board: 4 of Spades Jack of Spades 7 of Hearts 3 of Diamonds 6 of Diamonds

Ferguson triples up, Kang Peng’s stack remains the same, and Stoffmaker takes a 200K hit, left with about 350K.

Play on!

Maxime Pageau was the first casualty of the final table in the $500 + $100 + $500 NL Hold’em 50/50 Bounty. The finalists have been rounded up about 15 minutes ago, and are now on break.

On the last hand before the break, Pageau pushed his short stack forward (about 125K) from the under-the-gun position. Action was folded to Harley Stoffmaker in the small blind, who quickly assessed Pageau’s stack, and isolated him by throwing a Bounty chip.

Maxime Pageau: 4 of Spades 4 of Hearts
Harley Stoffmaker: 10 of Hearts 10 of Spades
