Day 4 of the partypoker Million North America came to a close with a bang, as Patrick Blye was eliminated by Jean-Pascal in what could only be described as a cooler.

Jean-Pascal opened to 6,000,000 from under the gun, and Patrick called next to act. Heads-up in the hand, Jean-Pascal check-called 5,300,000 on the Ace of Diamonds Ace of Clubs 2 of Hearts flop. He then check-called 11,500,000 on the 10 of Spades turn before checking one last time on the King of Clubs river. With over 50 million in the pot already, Patrick tanked for a moment before moving all-in for just over 36 million. Jean-Pascal snap called the bet and tabled Ace of Hearts King of Spades for the nuts, Aces-full-of-Kings, and Patrick showed a monstrous second-best Tens-full-of-Aces with 10 of Clubs 10 of Hearts.

Patrick’s elimination in 9th place spelled the end of Day 4, and the official 8-handed final table has now been reached. Players have bagged their chips, and will return tomorrow at 12pm to play down to a winner.

Nicholas Le Floch has been navigating the last few orbits with a short stack, searching for a spot to spin his stack up. Sitting with 17,100,000 in the big blind, he was faced with a shove from shove from Ari Engel in the small blind. He peeled a weak Ace and went along with the all-in.

Ari: Queen of Spades 7 of Spades
Nicholas: Ace of Diamonds 2 of Spades

Ari rivered a straight on the Jack of Clubs 8 of Spades 10 of Diamonds Ace of Hearts 9 of Hearts board to thin the field down to just 10 players, while Nicholas was awarded a $50,000 prize for his 11th place finish.
