These are the final results of Event #6 in the Playground Poker Spring Classic, a $300 + $30 NL Hold’em 8-Max tournament that was played on May 8th, 2017. The tournament, which was a freezeout, attracted a total of 251 runners and generated a prize pool of $73,041.00. This prize pool was distributed according to the following table.

Note that a player deal was reached with 7 players remaining. The players reserved $1,500 and the Champion’s trophy for the winner and distributed the rest of the prize pool via modified ICM chop. These payouts are reflected in the payouts below, while the rank indicates the actual exit position from the tournament.

Day 3 of the partypoker Million North America is now in the books, and 37 players have bagged chips onto Day 4, which takes place tomorrow at 12pm. They will continue play until the official 8-handed final table is reached, at which point they will go on break until the following day.

Leading the field is Scott Montgomery and he returns to the felts with 83,450,000 tomorrow. Niall Farrel bagged a second biggest 79,000,000, while Philippe D’Auteuil rounds the top 3 with 71,300,000. Jonathan Bussieres also had a big Day 3 and managed to build a stack of 62,350, and Jean-Pascal Savard closed the day with 61,000,000. Full counts of the final 37 will be made available shortly.

Once players have finished bagging their chips onto Day 4, we will release the full list of player-reported chip counts as well as the seating assignments for tomorrow’s restart.

Recently eliminations include Ryan Rivers ($22,500), Jason Koon ($25,000), Vojtech Ruzicka ($25,000), Anthony Zinno ($25,000), Sam Trickett ($25,000), Chanracy Khun ($25,000), Ema Zajmovic ($27,500) and Benny Chen ($27,500).

Sam Trickett has been eliminated from the partypoker Million North America. The biggest blow came when he lost with King of Clubs King of Spades versus the Ace of Hearts King of Hearts of Louis Boutin, who caught an Ace on the turn to double-up his 17 million stack. With just over 6 million left, he went all-in shortly after with King of Hearts Jack of Diamonds and ran into Ace of Hearts Ace of Diamonds. Sam collected $25,000 for his 49th place finish.

Faced with an early position open, Jocelyn Poirier 3bet to 3,625,000 from the button. Jean-Philippe Piquette then moved all-in from the small blind, and action folded back around to Jocelyn. He moved into the tank for a few minutes before finally making the call for nearly all of his chips, as both players were close to 12 million each.

Jean-Philippe didn’t like the 6 of Clubs 7 of Diamonds 8 of Hearts very much, and jokingly asked the dealer to slow down. The 3 of Spades on the turn brought no change, but the pocket Tens made a straight on the 9 of Spades river. Once the count was done, the dealer announced that Jean-Philippe was covered by a small margin, and was eliminated in 64th place for $22,500.
