Another flight of the Grand Prix Canada is in the books as Day 1D has recently come to a close. Of the 131 that started the night, 14 players bagged a stack onto Day 2, collecting a prize of $400 along the way. They will join the other qualifiers on Sunday as they compete for the lion-share of the $500,000 guaranteed prize-pool.
The biggest stack of the flight belongs to Karim Abdelhamid, who turned his 30,000 starting stack into an impressive 747,200. This places him in the top 3 stacks overall thus far.
