Leandre St-Laurent returned from break into level 25 as the chip leader, and has recently added some ammunition to his already healthy armory.
Mina Mourad opened to 126,000 from early position, and Eric Bigras 3-bet all-in next to act. When action folded around to Leandre, he asked for a count and then moved into the tank. The 1.6 million chip bet was nearly half of his current stack, but Leandre’s hand was too strong to fold, and he isolated by moving all-in himself. Mina quickly mucked his hand, and the two players tabled their hands.

Although the hand was a flip to start, Leandre found a set in the window and held for the win on the board. With that pot he well surpassed the 5-million chip mark, further securing his chip lead.
