The pace has picked up since the money-bubble burst, and chips are moving around quite a bit.

Daniel Suied was recently eliminated after squeezing with his last 6.65M holding 8 of Spades 8 of Clubs. He found a call from Alexander Allison with Ace of Clubs Queen of Clubs, who ran a flush on the Queen of Hearts 3 of Clubs 5 of Clubs 3 of Diamonds 10 of Clubs board to claim the pot.

Jonathan Bussieres found a key double-up with King of Hearts King of Clubs versus 10 of Clubs 10 of Hearts, crippling online qualifier Chun Ho Law in the process. Chun was eliminated shortly after.

John Krpan was sent to the rail after seeing his King of Spades King of Hearts get cracked by the 7 of Clubs 7 of Spades of Thomas Cemm.

Upeshka De Silva is also out of the partypoker Million North America, and collected $15,000 for his run, as did the previously mentioned eliminations.

Hand-for-hand began with 121 players remaining in level 21, and the first player eliminated was November-Niner Griffin Benger.

James Romero opened to 470,000 and David Eldridge flat-called next to act. Griffin then placed a 3bet to 4,800,000, which represented most of his stack as he only had around 800,000 behind. James tanked a moment before making the call and David let his hand go. James bet enough to put Griffin all-in before the board was out, and Griffin made the call.

James tabled King of Spades King of Diamonds and was up against the Ace of Diamonds King of Clubs. The Queen of Diamonds 6 of Spades 9 of Diamonds 7 of Spades 7 of Clubs board brought no danger to James’s Kings and Griffin was knocked out in 121st place.

Scott Montgomery found a full double-up to over 25 million on the following hand, by flopping a set of Deuces and getting 3 streets of value versus Francois Billard’s pocket Jacks.

As all of this was happening, Steven Warburton was slowly blinding out on table 68. On the 6th hand of hand-for-hand, he forfeited his 100K in the small blind leaving him with only 20K behind. He was automatically all-in on the next hand, and his Queen of Spades 2 of Diamonds was up against the 10 of Spades 10 of Clubs of Timothy West. Steven couldn’t find help on the board and was eliminated on the bubble. There were two other all-in / calls at the same time on other tables, but both at-risk players survived the hand, leaving Steven as the sole bubble elimination.

The remaining players have now locked in a min-cash of $10,000 as they progress towards the $1,000,000 grand prize.

Congratulations to the players who have cashed in this event!

For the second time today, we saw Upeshka De Silva win a huge pot as the aggressor, and in both cases he started barrelling with air and backed into a straight.

On the most recent hand, Jordan Saccucci opened to 525,000 from middle position, and Upeshka 3bet to 1,675,000 from the button. Jordan made the call and the two tangoed to the King of Clubs 8 of Spades 10 of Spades flop.

Jordan check-called a bet of 1,200,000 on the flop, then check called 5,200,000 when the turn brought the 9 of Hearts. He checked-called a third time on the Jack of Diamonds river, this time for 8,475,000, and was rattled when he saw Upeshka table Queen of Hearts 3 of Hearts for a runner-runner straight. Jordan was left with around 10 million after the hand, while Upeshka jumped up to over 40 million.
