Play in Day 1B of the partypoker Million North American has passed through the first level to be played today and players continue to join the tournament at a rapid clip. So far today there have already been 434 players seated including the 123 Phase 1 stacks that started the day plus 310 new entries including a single re-entry (so far).

Registration will remain open today until the end of the dinner break following level 6 – which is to say that you can jump in any time until 7:15pm this evening.

The partypoker Million North America Day 1b is now underway after a brief announcement from poker ambassador Mike Sexton, and so far the board indicates that there are 378 players at their seats.

The late registration period will remain open through until the end of the dinner break, giving players up until 7:15pm to late-reg into this $5,000,000 guaranteed event. Additionally, if any player is unfortunate to be eliminated during the first 6 levels of play, they are permitted one re-entry into the event.

The winner of this event is set to take home at least $1,000,000! Will it be you?

Live Day 1B begins in just minutes

With two online Day 1s and the first Live Day 1 in the books, attention now turns to the final Day 1 on offer in the partypoker Million North America – which is set to get underway in just minutes here in the Tournament Hall at Playground Poker Club.

There were 123 outstanding Phase 1 stacks to be played – all of which have been entered in today’s starting flight – and a lot of unused satellite tickets. Add to that a lot of buy-ins from travelling pros and it adds up to over 300 entries today before the day has even begun. With the trend towards late registration as important as always at Playground, it’s looking like it will be a monster day of poker for Day 1B.

Today isn’t the last chance to buy in to the tournament, however. Satellite winners or players directly buying in may also choose to buy in on Day 2.

The partypoker Million North America is a little different than many other tournaments because of the Phase 1 pathway to qualifying. Almost a “Day 0.5”, players were able to play their way in to Day 1 and carry their stack with them.

The following table is the official seating draw for Day 1B of the partypoker Million North America. Each of the players listed below is a Phase 1 winner, and the stack size is the amount of chips they ended with during their successful Phase 1 tournament. In the case of online Phase 1 qualifiers, the stack size has been rounded up to the nearest 500 due to the minimum denomination chip in play to begin Day 1.

These stacks will be on the table (bagged) to begin Day 1 at 12:00pm tomorrow. Note that the tables seem relatively sparse – that is because Day 1 Buy-ins and Satellite winners will join the tournament in the normal way as they will be given a random seating ticket when they buy in to the event.
