Abdul Al Magableh’s 6 of Hearts 4 of Diamonds had bettered Alex Sauriol’s Ace of Diamonds Ace of Spades even before he hit the full house on the river.

Abdul set the pace, preflop, when he raised 5,000. After Alex called, the dealer flipped 6 of Hearts 6 of Diamonds Jack of Hearts. Following the flop Abdul, sitting on a 6 set, bet 5,000.  Alex didn’t hesitate and raised 15,000. Abdul called. On the turn, a 7 of Spades was dealt. Abdul checked, and Alex raised another 15,000.  Abdul nodded his head and pushed 15,000 chips into the pot.

On the river the 7 of Clubs was dealt and Alex immediately went all in, pushing in all of his remaining 25,000 chips.  Abdul, sitting on a full house, immediately called.

As we enter level 3 of the WPT500 Day 1D, the tables are quickly filling up in Playground Poker Club`s brand new expansion. Today, a new cohort of players are all vying for their spot in next week`s Day 2 – along with several players from last night`s Day 1B, who appear to be taking another shot at the glory that eluded them yesterday.

There have already been 168 entries so far this evening, which is only 8 fewer less than the total for all of last night, so the action looks to be heating up early. And we are still a full 3 hours and 45 minutes away from the end of registration for today`s tournament, so if the weather has got you down come have a meal, watch some sports and take your shot at the WPT500`s Day 1D!
