    Hum doubles in early action

Geoffrey Hum entered the day as the chip leader, but it took an unlikely river to keep him at the final table. He open raised all in for 3,750,000 and when action came to Thomas Hall in the sb, he was clearly intrigued. He asked for the count, and then signalled a call by adding a chip to the one that was already positioned in front of him for the sb. Sebastien Lepine folded the bb and the cards were exposed.

Geoffrey: 5 of Spades 5 of Hearts
Thomas: Ace of Spades King of Hearts

Thomas took a big lead on the 3 of Clubs King of Clubs 2 of Clubs flop, and while the Jack of Hearts wasn’t the miracle Geoffrey needed, the 5 of Clubs was – he had hit his 2 outer!
