Simon Belzile’s night has come to a close, and he finishes the WPTDeepStacks tournament in 15th place, collecting a healthy $11,750. And for the 4th or 5th time in a row, it was a set that helped eliminate a player.

This time Simon’s opponent was Alexander Allison. The flop came down K-7-3, and when it did, we imagine both players were overjoyed. That was the problem for Simon, however, as both he and Alexander flop a set. The main issue at hand? Alexander flopped a set of Kings, as opposed to Simon’s set of 3’s.

Congratulations to Simon for an excellent tournament, and good luck to all the remaining players.

    Simon Belzile
    Alexander Allison
